Terms of Use
Last updated 3 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Promzi. Making an account or using the service means you accept them. They cover both sides of the marketplace: businesses that hire, and creators that make.
What Promzi is
Promzi is a marketplace. We introduce a business to a creator and we hold the profile, the verification and the record of the work. The contract for the video itself is between the business and the creator, not between either of them and us.
We are not a party to that contract. We do not make the video, we do not endorse it, and we are not anyone's employer. A creator is an independent business person working with the business they chose.
Promotions and escrow payments are not live yet. Deposit, draft, approval and release is how the product works and will work, and we will switch it on in an update to these terms. Until then no money moves through Promzi and we take no fee.
Your account
You must be at least 18. One person or business, one account. Sharing an account or selling access to it breaks these terms.
We never ask for your Google password, and no message claiming to be from us will ask you for it, a code, or a payment. If you are asked for any of those, it is not us. Do not send it.
Being listed
A creator profile needs a phone number for payouts and support, a city, an age group and at least one category. To be visible to businesses, at least one TikTok or Instagram account must be verified. A business profile needs a name, phone, city, business name and industry.
Use your own details. A profile built on someone else gets removed, and so does a verified account that turns out not to belong to whoever claimed it.
Verification
Verification proves one thing: that you control the social account you claimed. You send a code from that account to our inbox and a person on our side checks it.
It is not a quality judgement. It does not mean your content is good, that we watched it in full, or that we endorse you. It does not carry over to any other account.
Your content stays yours
Everything you make is yours. We claim no ownership of your videos, photos, account or username, and we take no cut of anything you earn outside Promzi.
When a business pays you for a video, it gets a licence to use that video for its own marketing. It does not get your account, your audience, or the right to repost it as its own creative, and it cannot pass that licence on. Agree anything wider in writing for that job.
You confirm what you upload is yours to share and licence. Content you took from someone else is your problem.
Acceptable use
- Register for yourself, with details that are actually yours.
- Do not claim a social account that is not yours.
- Do not post or link anything unlawful, owned by someone else, or that exploits anyone.
- Do not use Promzi to send other users unsolicited marketing, or to scrape the service.
- Do not misrepresent who you are or what you offer.
- Do not try to break the service or get around a decision we made about your account.
Accuracy and availability
Follower counts and profile details are read from the platform, so they can be out of date. That is the platform reporting, not us editing anything. We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will never be down, and we may change or withdraw a feature.
Ending the account
You can close your account at any time and we will delete your profile and social rows within 30 days. We may suspend an account while we check something, and close one that breaks these terms or is used to deceive. If an account has money or work attached, we settle that first.
No warranty
Promzi is provided as it is. We do not promise a video will sell anything, that a promotion will find the right creator, or that a creator will become famous. Those are your commercial decisions, made with the information we give you.
Liability
To the extent Ethiopian law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss: lost profit, lost opportunity, lost data or damage to reputation. Nothing here limits a right you cannot waive or excludes liability for fraud. A creator is responsible for the work delivered; a business is responsible for the money it agrees to pay.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Courts in Addis Ababa have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute we cannot settle between us directly.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. Where a change matters to you we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Promzi after that means you accept the new terms.
